Brownies Just Got Even Better: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting

Last night I made Chewy Fudge Brownies which I highly recommend. As if they aren’t good enough on their own, I decided to add frosting. But, this isn’t just any frosting, this is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting. The first time I ever saw this idea was when a friend from my class in high school made these and brought them to school. There are plenty of different recipes out there now, some use heavy whipping cream, some use cream cheese. I’m sure all are tasty, but I just used the simple version below. I don’t like recipes that are too “strict” so this one allows you to make it to your preferences….

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 – 2 c. flour
3-4 Tbsp. milk
mini chocolate chips

Cream butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir in milk and flour until you reach desired consistency. Add as many mini-chocolate chips as you want! Enjoy!
