Cheesy Breakfast Rolls

In college I worked at a bakery part time for about a year. One of the things we made there was rolls similar to these, which were called “Cheesy Breakfast Rolls”. They are basically an omelet in a roll and they are not any harder to make than cinnamon rolls.

First, start with your favorite cinnamon roll dough. Roll it out like you would to make cinnamon rolls. Beat several eggs and spread on top of dough. Then mix together what ever you like in your omelet: peppers, onions, bacon, hashbrowns, etc. and layer on top of the eggs. Sprinkle with cheese and I did in the lower left picture. Then roll, slice and place on pan. Baking time will vary depending on how big the rolls are. It should be approximately 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
